As you  know, my E21 is for sale so maybe this is none of my business. However, maybe because I might be leaving the community, I am the one to start this topic...

This Forum has played a key role in making my experience with the boat an awesome one. Perhaps it is this site that gave me the confidence needed to purchase a rare and unique boat that was no longer supported by the manufacturer. The willingness of everyone to stay involved and offer the free (did I say free?) exchange of advice, suggestions and encouragement has been simply awesome. Thank you over and over to Pete for starting it and Les for maintaining it!

Capt. Rick now wants to charge people to give advice - seriously?  It is the antithesis of everything good about the site and I am disappointed it is being allowed. However, if he is sharing a generous share of his fee with Pete and Les to help maintain the site, I can be convinced that his intentions are honorable. If not, he should develop and maintain his own site. Just saying...

Rambling Wreck, sorry to see you go, but I am afraid it will be the fate of all of us some day.  I am a late comer from 2017, so I am especially grateful for the information and advice I have received on this site.  I wrote a post a couple of weeks ago expressing my thanks.

As for Captain Rick, my experience with him has been nothing but positive.  I have purchased a fuel pump from him, but I have also been given much more advice for free:  correct battery, options for thermostat, what to look for when deciding to change my water pump and timing belt, and a couple of others.  It is nice to have an Epic Marine mechanic on the site.  I hate that the parts are running out and, for his sake, I hate that part of his income is also ending.  I am a tightwad that doesn't want to pay for anything I can get for free, but sometimes the best advice is worth it..  I hope he sticks around.

I supported for 3 years warranty after Toyota closed as employee Service Manager.
The contract for parts support was for 10 years. After that all the parts were suppose to go to me, but Toyota decided to send them to another warehouse for 10 more years.   But, since it is 20 plus years the parts revenue for me is almost gone. So  I have no problem selling my parts and kits: New replacements 7 gauges for 1999  model year.  New switch panels replacing DECC relay box,  now removing MMDC 4 gauge kits to analogue gauges, Throttlebody testing and replacement.

All the answeres are here on the forum and still free.  Which almost went away. but thanks Sammamish Skier for updating. I have been paying for the web site.

I have a 2021 S22 I use it to update when items are no longer available. Like I am building rudder ports, mooring covers and bimini tops.

It keeps my mind and memory active. Just lucky to be Healthy,  Happy and enjoy my 2 grandkids.
So if you need my advise you know how to reach me. if you are buying any of the parts or kits the advise is free.
