Steering Wheel Shaft Cover

Hi All,

Need help finding a replacement part but don't know part name so here goes.....   The steering wheel box under the dash has what looks like an black antenna threaded onto the side of it. I appears to protect the steering wheel "gear".  What is it called and where can I get a replacement?

The helm in our boats appears to be a rotary system which is now sold by seastar solutions. It doesn't look like parts are readily available but you might be able to call them to get the cover.
