sorry all. normally this thing runs on auto pilot but evidently the webhost changed some settings causing some of the images to not show. should be all fixed now.
i don't need to remind you all that this site is run by "volunteers" and sometimes us "volunteers" have other priorities. having said that, if anyone with web skills wants to "volunteer" to take over the maintenance here let me know.
requirements: html/css knowledge. mysql database script writing. the ability to comb through crappy code asking yourself how the heck this thing actually works...then rewriting it more efficiently. Parts database and boat registry built from scratch, but the forum is Simple Machines Forum with a custom template(easy to maintain except when the host makes an arbitrary change which happens about once a year.) paying for the yearly hosting which i think is about $120 per year.
We are due for a complete overhaul particularly considering this site has not had one since before facebook was even invented.
PM me if you want a challenge.
Pete was the original brainchild of this site and i took over the website in the early days i think about 2004 or 5 when we realized that while pete can build a rocket to the moon out of tin foil, perfect pass, and a battery isolator, he was bad at doing websites.
Now i have to go wash my boat and get on the water this weekend.
