Well, I went out yesterday to test the WakeShaper. Being a novice to the wake surfing world I wish I could explain the wake a little better to you guys. I will put a link to a video below. I definitely feel like the wake is more "surfable." Rampier, steeper, longer, etc...
To Note: There is a million ways to have this system adjusted, mainly the position forward or aft. The velcro strips you place on the boat are about 2 feet long and the ronix is about a foot. It enables you to place the ronix more toward the bow or the stern to shape the wake. Those velco strips are intense. I struggled getting the ronix to detach my first couple placements.
My very novice knowledge of wake surfing review is that this is by far the easiest way to get a better wake. For now I know it will allow me to get INTO the surfing sport for you guys that have been doing it for a while - well I am sure you could apply it to your needs as well. It is costly but avoids any expensive modifications to your boat.
The video. It was just me and my dog on board, with a full fatsac in the trunk minaly around the 10mph to 11mph range.
