Epic Boat buying advise
« on: December 17, 2014, 15:42:28 pm »
hey guys Im looking at a 2002 epic x22 with 350 hours on it. Im a bit nervous about getting parts for the boat. Can you still get driveline parts for these? engine parts, transmission parts, drive shafts, bearings steering cables ..... anything of that nature? also is there anything I should look at specifically with these boats before i buy?

Im sure there are some old threads about this same subject, Sorry if it is

I just bought an Epic S22 and have been replacing a bunch of parts and shopping for them. If they aren't on the "Buy Parts" tab at the top of these pages on epicmarine.com then I am finding I go searching around for forum and people have mentioned replacement parts. Or, I'll copy the part number from the "Buy Parts" section of the site, then paste it into google with the type of part (Example: "Aisin water pump Toyota or Lexus V8"). I have had good luck so far, but I am buying pulleys, water pump, belts, etc and finding them. I am not buying more complex stuff yet. Buy OEM - the best advice anyone can give you...
