X22 Wakesurf
« on: August 12, 2014, 02:01:34 am »
Not too sure if anyone is interested, but finally got my X22 to throw a wake to surf on. Not a really long pocket but I can surf as long as my ability will let me. I am running a 750 in the boot, a 400 on the side of the motor box and another 400 beside the motor box (partially on top of the first 400 and partially on the back seat). Pocket lengthens if you run weight on the floor in the bow (either a 400 or 750).

Phenom, did you get your old X22 surfing and if so what did you run?

We get a good wake on our X22.  We run the stock 600lb in the rear and 750lb with 370lb on top next to the engine and 750lb in the bow on the floor.  If you put 2 to 3 people in the back seat, then the wake is even better.  We also made a new swim platform which is about 6in shorter on each side with 45deg angles cut on the back corners of the platform to prevent the water from curling over the platform.
