As my friends continue to buy new boats and complain about issues, I am reassured that I will keep this boat much longer. Getting a huge surf wake isn't worth $80,000 dollars to me lol.

Now if I could find a pump with no ethanol!!

No, kidding...another non stop day at the lake Sunday, wakeboarding, tubing and skiing, the Epic never missed a beat.  All day long and barely spent 60.00 in gas.   My Epic s22 is 12 years old and not a crack, squeak or creak and still looks great.  Whenever I get the burn to look at new boats I head to the lake and jump in the Epic.  Bet she has another 12 years easy!  Holding up better than me!

I'm with you guys !

I couldn't be happier $20 000 bucks for my 2001 S22 with 174hours and with my new ballast system I'm working on I'm already putting out a very nice surf wave that will only get better with future mods and I'm averaging $37 bucks for gas each time out 4 or 5 people approx 3 hours on the lake

This is my 15th summer with my 2001 S22, ordered it 2/00 and picked it up 6/00.  I am so happy with this boat and have had zero issues.  Our Epic's rock!!!!!!

haha, I'm done with working over my 40 hrs and getting nothing for it. House remodel is done and Cross Country MX race season is over. Yes, I am still riding the foil whenever I can but old injuries have crept back up and kept me from riding it too much. Tendonitis in right elbow and cubital tunnel syndrome from left elbow. Played hard!. We mostly surf now and I have almost as much fun doing that.

Wow! I couldn't agree more! I Bought my new 99 epic 22 in July 1999. Not one problem, only preventative maintenance like new timing belt when she was 10 yrs old ( I posted a "how to do"on this forum). I too am tempted to set her up for wake surfing, but we really enjoy our Sky Ski, wake boarding and still can cut a pretty fair run on my slalom ski! Not too shabby for a 63 yr old!
