I'm hopefully picking up my new (to me) Epic 22 tomorrow. It was for sale at Waterski America in Dallas. I went to look at it on Friday. It was owned by one of the guys that works there. He called me after work and turns out he even lived near my house. He offered to take me out on the Epic on Sunday. He introduced me to the boats original owner too.
It was bought new at Phil Dill Boats in Lewisville, Texas and lived it's life on Lake Lewisville in Shady Shores, TX.
Some of the vinyl is rough, but the boat runs great. It has Perfect Pass, the factory wake tower, 4 speakers, plus 2 Bose 151's on the tower, a 4 channel amp, sub, and Kenwood CD player. Trey (the previous owner) liked to use a bunch of ballast so it has an aftermarket prop for better bottom end acceleration installed too.
I am a little confused because this is an Epic 22, but it has the same wake tower as the X22's I have seen. Was this a factory or dealer option in 1999?
The weather should be good here on Wednesday and hopefully we'll be taking it out.
I hope to get some ballast/fat sacs installed soon. Trey is hooking me up with a 1000 lb sac that will hopefully fit in the rear locker and I've got a 440lb Launch Pad and three 150lb Launch Pad big blocks that I think I can stick up in the bow until I get a better fitting solution.

A little about me. I am a Toyota nut. I have a 2007 Tundra double cab with the 5.7 V8 and redrock leather interior. I've had about 50 (yes fifty) Toyota MR2's. I own ATS Racing an import performance shop that specializes in the 1991-1995 Toyota MR2's. I currently have a 1991 turbo MR2 that has put down just over 600whp and a 93 turbo MR2 that makes a mild 290 horsepower at the wheels.
I'm sure I'll have dozens of questions soon.
