My 2000 X22 has 725 hours and running strong.
Lesson learned this year: pay more attention to the cooling system. Last summer 100 hours, this summer only 25.
As far as drive train aging goes, probably more of us have better familiarity with cars. So comparatively, Joe Average has a 2000 GS 400. Like the rest of us, he's lucky to average (overall) 40 MPH between City and Hwy driving. Conservatively the public drives 15,000 miles per year. This means Joe will put 375 hours on his GS annually; roughly one solid hour every day of the year. These days getting 150,000 'trouble free' miles out of a Toyota is nothing... which equates to ten years or 3750 hours. Thus, I'm thinking 3000 'Epic' hours will be the norm...
Now if we could just get the same from the upholstery.
