Hi Folks, the water pump impeller was shot!  1/2 missing.  Here is a picture.  Now I will wait until next season to see if the gauge ground wire is still an issue. 

The boltthat holds it on, behind the Perko switch, was stripped.  Someone tried to change it but failed.  So they left it there.  After a little fight and one nights sleep I got it off.  The impeller was 1/2 gone!  Here is a picture of it.
