Chevron is not available in the upper Midwest.

My advice is to choose a brand of premium gasoline that you trust and make sure that it does not contain ethanol.

I've used BP, Shell, Holiday, Exxon, Mobil, Cenex, Citgo and some others and have never had a problem.  The bigger problem is finding ethanol-free gasoline.  Ethanol and boats don't mix.

Good feedback. I'm tempted to create a wiki of this so that anyone can edit it and it will be a group, ongoing resource for all. Stay tuned. what's a wiki you ask?

Here's the entry for Toyota in wikipedia. not a single word about TMS that i could find.

Brilliant!!!

And forum members could add the content?   And adjust layout somewhat?  I'm picturing a troubleshooting guide

-Does Not Start
-Not running at full power / wot
-Taking on water
-Gauge/Instruments Not working
-Interior / Exterior structure issues

And if you click on the first one you would see....
-Does Not Start
    -No Electrical Power
    -Engine Doesn't turn over
-Engine turns but does not start

And link those another layer down or to threads!?

Do I understand 'wiki' ?  And could this be possible on EpicMarine?   With a good checklist, internet enabled blackberry and a wiki like this...  that would be a REAL weekend saver!!!

Brilliant

Fyi the forum is wap enabled so it is formatted different for your mobile device. I'm on my bb right now.

I will look into setting up a wiki and leave it to you all to see if it gets any traction.

Any more thoughts on the wiki?  Think we need to have some beers to discuss.  I added a check sheet in Excel with my pics (didn't know where else to put it) based on the awesome documentation on this site.  I just winterized and un winterized myself this year.  And those with the anti-freeze were on to something.  Still need work on my Excel sheet but think it's a perfect time to see Excel vs. Wiki.  Will start new thread on the beers thing.

Trying to figure out gauge related issues on my roommates boat.  The whole instrument system is dead.  I want to follow the instructions but your search engine doesnt work.  It simply times out.  Are you guys working on fixing this issue?
