I knew there was a better description of the sundeck jack-linear actuator.  It is rather slow but hasn't bothered me.  The switches (lower and raise) are on the upper accessory switch panel in the dash.  I only have the linear actuator with no gas cylinders.

As you mentioned Pete, if you lose power it would be a problem.

As far as surfboards, I have all (red tide, blue lake, yellow loogey and 4-skim) the inland surfer boards.  They all have different pro's and con's.  They are build well and don't have ghetto graphics.  Most of my friends learn on a Hyperlite Landlock (slower, more stable, heavier) which is similar to the inland surfer blue lake.

On weighing the boat for wakesurfing.  If you want a steep wake - put more weight in the back, if you want a longer wake, add weight to the bow.  Most things I read say you want to place most of the weight on the side you want to surf on.

Good luck.  Wakesurfing is the best "old man" water sport.  Soft crashes, doesn't wear you out and very cool to ride without the rope.

Hey guys,

I was out this weekend and noticed something I forgot or needed to do. If your gonna put say 900 lbs. between the two v-drive lockers you might consider SEALING the TRANSOM LIGHT. My platform was about 8" under water. Water was pouring in through the light. Wake was frigin huge  ;D ;D ;D

Brad- thanks for all the wakesurfing tips. I'll check out Inlands boards.

I don't know if there's any interest still, but at one time a couple of you were interested in seeing the final product. So here goes.

Trying to make a walkthru bag automated and looking decent definitely had it's challenges. This is what I came up with. The fill pump is on the main manifold as seen in my earlier pics. The hose crosses over to the drivers side under the rear seat and runs up to the drivers foot area and into the drain pump which is mounted to the left of the heater bracket. (see pic) I used a couple adapters to be able to converter the base of the pump to accept a hose barb. I cut a small hole on the lower left side of the kick panel for the hose. There is about 18" of hose before the non-spill quick connect fitting. I plastic coated a steel 2" electrical conduit strap to hold the hose when not in use. It works awesome! To my surprise the aerator style pump will completely drain the sack. I thought for sure I would have to lift up the bag to keep prime on that pump when draining so I was pretty stoked when it worked out the way it did. Here's a couple pics.

If there is interest I can get together a parts list and electrical diagram. I also have about 60 pics of the system install. If anyone is interested send me your e-mail address.

Daaaang Wakekunky was the MAN, still is I'm sure:) This has got my wheels turning about further improvements to stock SX ballast design. As per my previous posts, I upgraded the stock two pump system with bigger valves and a pvc manifold. It works well but controls need modernization. I wrote a program for a small microcontroller to change the function of the stock pushbuttons, then life got in the way and I never finished..... Have to revisit that idea combined with WJ's advancements in SX ballast technology;)

a belated thanks for an awesome site contribution:)
