Rockford Fosgate Capacitor

I installed a Rockford Fosgate Capacitor (RFC1), and I have a question concerning the CHRG2 (the accessory that mounts on top to moniter charge and discharge of capacitor).  Those who have installed the capacitor, did you use the CHRG2 and how did you hook it up if you did?  Those who haven't, is the capacitor required to have the CHRG2 mounted to operate correctly?  Thanks for the help.

I read the documentation on that thing on the RF website, it does not say if that thing needs to be permanently installed or not. You should go on their forum to see if you can get an answer.

Yeah, I thought about doing that.  I let this post ride a few more days then maybe give it a try.
