Ok guys, Breakawaydaze finally brought up the topic. The Texas dudes have beautiful boats but if I counted right, there were only 3 of them!!! Ha - we still have the record and need to expand on it. Of course, more importantly, we need to see Cyclone's new ride. I have an idea on a better island as the base unless anyone else wants to move to a different lake. I now have a Tundra (that my son won't drive) so I could actually see if the trailer works - never used it since Breakaway dropped it off at my place for me. July 28/29 works for me. Any weekend after August 15th works as well. Of course. I prefer weekdays but know that is hard for some. Low country boil is Friday-

I don't work in my basement, but I can snag a weekday off.....BECAUSE I WORK EVERY SATURDAY!  Man if we can do a weekday it will be smooth water all day long...... any interest in that?  Hopefully we can round up at least 5 Epics on a weekday!

I'm good for weekend or weekday, Hartwell or Alatoona or Lanier, anytime just about. I can arrange something on Lanier where we'll have a pavilion and barbecue, etc. I can set up camping if that is required. I may have use of a dock on the lake very soon, that would be nice.

Anyway we do it sounds good to me!

Weekdays for me is almost impossible. But, let me know, I may be filling a bit under the weather that day.

Hopefully everyone will be ok with Friday, 8/17. I think this gives everyone enough notice to figure out their illnesses (Hector, you have to get off that day - we need you to be there.) We will own the lake on a weekday. We can carry it into Saturday for those that can stay. I can put up several folks or Payne's Creek campground is supposed to be a nice one. Of course, if anyone is into primitive camping, they can stay on the island we will use. Breakaway, tell your folks you will be in on Saturday but it will be later in the day - there, problem solved.

Lesman, I am thinking of a different island - I will get a map out shortly. It is a little further but that is a good thing - we need to use the boats a little more anyway! Breakaway, got you down for Thursday night. Friday AM should be glass---

Sorry to have taken so long to get these pics posted (hopefully they attach). I had to reinstall my scanner after a file corrupted and I just can't seem to get it tweaked yet.

1. Payne's Creek public boat launch - The ramp eveyone has used for the last 2 roundups.
2. The island we have used for the last 2 roundups.
3. Another ramp just off the SC exit 2 which may be more convenient if getting to the lake using I-85 South.
4. The island we will use this year.
5. My place.

The yellow dotted line is the SC/GA border.

Once folks decide when they can arrive and how long they can stay, let me know if you plan to camp in style (Payne's Creek campground), camp more primitive (the base island) or slum it (my place).
