I know from the pictures at least, that it has been severely neglected. Whoever is responsible should be drawn and quartered.

That boat looks trashed I wouldn't buy it. Probably got hit by catrina, boats cant float if there on a trailer.

I am only guessing as well, but in the pictures of the engine, on the ledge inside the engine compartment, it appears there is sludge sitting there. If it is, that boat was under water for some time. If a boat sat under water like that, are there any parts that could be reasonably salvaged? I cana't think of any. The interior is 'baked'. New carpet and upholstery... and then the dash and paint will never be the same. Recovering the seats is not cheap, but nothing in comparison to repairing the engine... I can't think of one thing a person could salvage... even the trailer needs a ton of work and will always be a candidate for more rust even if fixed as good as possible. Sad days...

I think the ad said the trailer is not included, which would add even more to the freight bill. I'm guessing a lot of the engine/tranny parts could be salvaged if it wasn't run post-flood. The tower looks ok too.

The gelcoat can always be buffed out and I agree that pretty much all the engine, transmission could be salvaged if it wasn't run after being flooded.  If the price was right it could be fixed up and have a good boat for a potentially low price.  Not coming with a trailer would be something that would have to be worked out.

If you are a fix it up kinda guy and can get it for 5k or so, and plan on replacing the driveline and all gauges and electronics, it might be almost worth it. It will probably only save you a couple thousand over a boat that has not been abused.

Yep.

Might be worth buying for parts, you could make money parting it out if you got it cheap enough.
