Anybody got a feel for price on this? I was thinking this boat was worth 20k? Why so low?

Somebody got a good deal. They always sell too low on ebay. Whoever sold it was pretty motivated and had an amazingly low reserve. I emailed the new owner about the site.

I e-mailed the owner, a Guy named Mike in Indiana.  He said he did not sell the boat for $13,200, and he was selling it privately and the high bid was around $16,500.  I think he said he was looking for $18,000 originally.  I think he will sell for $16,500.  Actually a pretty good deal depending on condition.  Regardless of model, it's kind of tough to sell witout a tower.  I love my S22, but miss my E21 so bad, I thought about having two again.  But then why have two boats you never get to use!  Hopefully wreck has not put his up for storage yet and I can ski behind it one more time.....

Breakaway, I will probably put it away for the season in mid-October. Hopefully we can all get together one more time as you mentioned in a different thread.  I am heading up to the lake tomorrow (hopefully) to get the Waverunner squared away for the season. I will be running back and forth to Seneca. If you are flexible, maybe we could work something in for tomorrow PM or Friday AM.

PS: Forget the "one more time" stuff - you can ski behind it ANYTIME!!!

just curious....if you have an S22, why do you miss the E21 ??? It is smaller, different hull and closed bow.? ???? maybe it's a better ski boat?? ????

There is no doubt, the E21 is a better "ski" boat!  The engine is placed midship and this makes the balance perfect for skiing.  The ski pylon is also placed midship, forward of the engine.  When you drive the E21 there is virtually no Bow Rise to contend with.  It handles like it is on rails, and it is alot easier to maneuver.  Yes it is smaller, and yes, it is a closed bow.  I got the S22 purely for that the fact that I have 3 kids, the giant water tube, and my wife brings everything!  The V-Drive setup with the engine in the back is set up more for a one suit fits all!  It does everything pretty good, but it will never pull slalom like the E21!  Slalom is my favorite watersport, the E21 spoiled me.  The S22 pulls fine, and if I never had an E21 I would be plenty satisfied!  The E21 is a "sports car",  the S22 is a "sport utility".  I guess you would have to use them both to get it.  Cyclone drove and rode behind Wrecks E21 at the last roundup, maybe he could better explain.

Tryme, you are going to love your new boat! I got mine from Breakawaydaze this summer. I loved it even BEFORE gas prices went through the roof and more now!! YOu will also enjoy this site - visit it often.

Breakaway had a tower custom made by newdimensions.com. He spent a lot of time working with them and I think it looks great. There are some pictures of it in the "East Coast Roundup" seciton in the photo area.

Wow, you are gonna love that boat!  You really need to get a tower on it!  I remember that boat is in Indiana, where do you live?  The tower was installed in Tennesee on Wrecks 21, if you want some good photos of the tower, let me know, although I think I had put some up on this site.  New Dimension towers built me a great tower and did a great install.  Let me know if you have any questions and congratulations!
