HELP!!!!! Boat will not start!!!!!

I am new to the forum and have found some really helpful information here. Thanks to all for the time & effort put into making this a great owner's site!

I am experiencing a problem trying to get power to my 1998 Epic 22. The battery has been recharged and have checked the fuses under the motor compartment cover. I am not getting any power at all.....blower doesn't work, lights won't come on, etc. Anyone have any ideas on things to check. I have a buddy who is a partner in the local Mastercraft dealership that has looked at it and thinks it may be a computer problem?

This may seem basic, but did you check the main battery on/off switch located on the port side of the engine near the front(just above the oil filter).  It is a big red switch that rotates clockwise or counter clockwise for on/off.  It is ahead or all electrical load, so if it is off you will get NOTHING.  The other thing to check is the kill switch teather below the throttle control near the depth guage.  If that is activated, you will have electrical power, but the boat will not start.

Check the inline fuse coming off the battery switch, it's in a black holder within a foot or two of the battery switch. Red wire with black line. It's a 20 amp AGC fuse.

I once had a wire come off the back of the ignition switch (where you turn the key). Same thing, no start, no power to anything. I just reached under the dash, hooked it back on and was driving 10 seconds later. Good luck.
