Want to buy an SX/22

If anyone knows who owns an SX/22 I would be interested in making a very serious offer in the next couple of months. Will pick up anywhere in the US. Please help me find my dream boat!

These Toyota boats are well made and reliable.  I have had one for 12 years.

Anyone have any tips on letting people know I'm not a scammer but will be traveling from halfway across the country to buy their boat? I found one I want in DFW but they are not responding...

Never seen this be a problem before. Typically epic owners know its likely going to sell out of state vs. local. Demand is much greater nation wide.

Possibly already sold.

 If not I would pick up the phone. Talk to someone in person at least to start, before you go email. People tend to be more comfortable when hearing a voice. Avoid typical scam language like "cashiers check" or "I'm from out of the country" or "Will you ship it". Don't start off with I'm 2000 miles away. They don't need to know where you from until your serious. Don"t sound overly aggressive like " I'm driving 2000 miles this thing better be exactly like you stated"

Don't make them do extra work, get it all handled on your end or at least as much as you can.

I had an SX lined up, but I was not able to get there in time...the boat sold... that being said... I'm still in the market and very serious on only an SX.... I have 25k Cash for anyone with an SX 22 in pristine condition (No cosmetic, or mechanical issues)... I'm not opposed to some work either as long as it runs and drives good and priced accordingly... I'm okay with aesthetic condition issues. Sell me your SX PLEASE?! PS... continental US only. I'd also pay a $500 finder's fee to anyone who puts me in connection with an unlisted SX

We have been discussing selling ours, I hate to sell it, but we mostly surf and have been considering buying a surf boat.  Let me talk to my wife and see what she thinks.

Ours is for sale.   I believe I sent you some pics the other day. Runs great,  no major issues.  The boat is in excellent condition.  Please come buy it! We have moved from freshwater to salt water and can no longer use the boat, otherwise we would never sell :(

Really only looking for an SX... I looked at a Tige 20V Locally and was ready to pull the trigger, but still holding out... If I'm going to spend the money on a Tige I'd rather by an SX and have what a REALLY want! I have a decked out 2008 Toyota Tundra 4x4 Crewmax and REALLY want to go to the lake pulling a Toyota Boat... it would be *cough* *cough* EPIC!

Sorta funny, I did all the 'don't do's' during my first boat purchase. Sent owners a bank check for like a grand to hold it for a week. Worked a full day, then drove nonstop SoCal to Dallas. Slept for 6, test drove, signed the big check then drove home. Pretty crazy but worked out well for both parties. That was 15 good years and 600 good engine hours ago. Three kids grown up on the lake :)

Wonder if this sold or not. Saw this a while ago and kept trying to get in contact but could never get anything. Tried finding the location of it in Durham and had no luck.
