Drive temp light, knocking...???
« on: May 27, 2019, 21:49:07 pm »
Hi, I have a 2001 S22 V-Drive. At low rpm in gear I get a knocking noise and the drive temp light flickers on and off... Also seems to lag at hole shot... Any ideas what may be wrong so I can direct my mechanic to the right area?

Vdrive has a pressure switch that lights under 1000 rpm . it normal. I usually disconnect one wire from sender on top of vdrive.

If the noise goes away above 1000 rpm it is normal. The rattle is called backlash. Also check fluid level and color.
