High idle red warning light

I read posts from last year which included replacing the throttle body for high idle and red warning light issue
I removed mine and cleaned it replaced the gasket back together normal idle until I touched the throttle then rev and back to high idle
Wondering if posts from 2015 still have success with eBay throttle body

First clean MAS with cleaner and be careful and mark how it is installed.

I replaced mine in 2016. Still works fine.

Had the same problem. Removed original cleaned and replaced. Same result after replacement .High idle after first throttle input.
Ordered 99 LS400 throttle body and installed it. Similar problem. Took the small electric motor out of the input housing on the original throttle body and married it together with the replacement. Reinstalled and has worked the past two years. Great help from the blog.
You will be able to remove the throttle body in about 90 seconds after you do this a couple of times
