O2 Sensor Question
« on: June 25, 2017, 23:05:04 pm »
I searched but could not find the answer.  Is the O2 sensor on the VT300i engine preset or a true O2 sensor that monitors the exhaust gases and adjust the fuel accordingly?

The computer does NOT monitor O2. There  are no O2 sensors.

Thanks.  So how do I get it set-up for a higher altitude other than changing the prop?

Run the boat at the load ( ballast for normal running) See if the engine rpm get close to 6000 rpm . Then adjust the prop so it get to 5600-6000 rpm.  The engine computer does not need to be adjusted.
