I am looking for a boom for my 1999 e21.  looks like barefoot international is the way to go.  anyone use a boom on the e21?  funny thing is that I use to ski on the same river that mike siepel use to barefoot on.  was in his old warehouse that he started barefoot international.  wish I still had a hookup with them.

Talk to Mike Siepel about one of his Barefoot International booms.  His work number is (561) 523-1947.  Mike's a first class guy, no one is more knowledgeable or experienced.  He helped me buy a used boom for a couple hundred dollars last year.  Mike knowingly made nothing off the deal but an excellent reputation.  If you don't know him read this:

His business website is:

I have had a Barefoot Intl Boom since 2000 on my 99E22. Works great.
You will have to move the motor box to 1 to 2" the Stern to accommodate
the bracket that goes around the pylon.......The motor box sits to close to the pylon
The (4) bolt downs for the motor box do not line up with the frame so you will
have to modify the attachments. We took "S" hooks  made a circle with one end and
opened the other to make a 90 degree angle down. Which hooked into the holes on the motor box
the bolts originally went through. There is enough room for the box to move back.
Never did mar the upholstery on the motor box.
