Washington Wakeboarders -- read this!
« on: February 28, 2008, 05:14:53 am »
I got sick of waiting for a "local" wakeboarding forum, so I created my own earlier today.  It's going to take a while to ramp up, but please feel free to come join the washingtonwake love-fest...   :-*

Hey Cal,
Tried to set up an account on your site and it kicked an error. I then tried to log in and it said that the username and email was used already. I did it via Firefox, if that helps.

Pete, you've registered.  I can't figure out how to fix that problem -- sent you and Les a PM hoping for some help.  I think it might be a problem with the cheap (OK, free) server I'm using... any suggestions?  Glad to see you've logged in.  I put up a lot of info on the site about how to get around the error messages.   I want to get it fixed though...

OK, all is fixed...but I had to start over with a new server (yes, I had to pay... >:().  And unfortunately, this host doesn't allow me to change the phpBB logo to the washingtonwake logo (I've read how to do it, but I don't understand FTP sites).

Anyway, surf on over and check it out.  www.washingtonwake.com

Nice work on the new website Cal.  Also congrats on the new Supra that looks like it is going to be a fantastic ride.

Your website says you may take her out on LW for the mayden voyage on the 8th.  You gonna launch from Sandpoint?  I will see if I can convince the fam to give me a day off to get the S22 recommissioned for the season and take it out.  Hopefully it will be good weather.

Thanks Aaron.  If I do get up to Seattle, I'll probably launch at Newport Shores, and use the boatlift at my folks' house in Meydenbauer Bay... my goal right now is to just tinker on Saturday and get the stereo dialed in, and weather permitting, wakeboard Sunday.  It'd be fun if you wanted to just head out with me, or meet out there, either way. We'll see... the forecast for next weekend has gone back and forth from 40 degrees and rain to 60 degrees and sun, and I'm sure it will change again.

I joined the site Cal, thanks for finally doing this!  My dad's been skiing with our close family friend on Lk WA for the past like 16+ years, I joined as soon as I could ski at 5 (1994) but getting people to come has been an issue the past few years.  If nothing else it'll be a great place to bs and meet fellow skiiers/boarders.

Im coming back from school in Spokane the 7th, but on the 8th two of my buddies and I are heading to Mt Hood to SNOW SKI!!  Its crazy to say that, you are already starting to board...man I need to get the Epic summerized asap.
