Pro Autographed Boat...
« on: February 17, 2008, 11:54:39 am »
I'm the newest owner of an Epic, (paid today: 02/16/08).  My previously owned boat was used at the 2001 Gravity Games in Pennsylvania as the to tow boat for all the pros during the competition. After the Gravity Games the boat was signed by all the pro boarders and sold to to "wakefoot" in Clarkston, ID. He cared for the boat for for six years, but unfortunately , all the pro autographs began to fade, and most are nearly unrecognizable today, (Bonifay brothers, Darin Shapiro, Danny Harf, Dallas Friday, my personal favorite Erik Ruck, and 10 other pros. Personally I would love to have the original signatures on the boat, but would 're-creating' them sacrifice the concept of an autographed boat?  I'm not looking at the signatures from a selling point, but rather a historical aspect. Please feel free to call if you have any information, or contribution to the story. Thank you.
