Tripped out on the fact that they replaced a 3.0L, inline 6 with a fuel-sipping 2.5L V-6 AND a 300HP, 3.5L V-6. Pretty cool. Got VVT-i on the exhaust track too now.

2006 IS - 300HP from 3.5 liters....86 HP/L.

1999-2002 Epic VT300i - 300HP from 4.0 liters....75 HP/L

V-8 scaled up from the 3.5L V-6.....priceless. 4.7L @ 86 HP/L = 400 HP.

Regular-sized V-8 scaled up from there....5.7L @ 86 HP/L = 488 HP. Sweet.

Funny you bring it up. My buddy called me this morning and said he's gonna pick one up. He drove it and fell in love. I think it'll look sweet in front of his trailer next to the bathtub planter box

I rented one for a couple days.....  really nice car.  Power all through the RPMs....  the one I had did NOT have the sport suspensoin package.  I would have liked to try cornering with that....

Yeah, she's sold.  I know when I get a new boat, I will be comparing the fit and finish and will be disappointed.  My wife made a job change that should enable us to get out on the water more, so we should be getting another boat soon.

We've got 4 kids and like to take friends, so the new boat will probably be a big V-drive..... prolly the 247, but we'll see.

How's life in Mtn Gate?

Life's rolling along. Wife's due with #3 in two weeks. Weather's unreal today, huh? Despite the sickening results in the election this week, I just love California. It's a beautiful place to live.

Whatever boat you choose, please stay in touch.

Did you get the new owner in touch with us?

Yeah, he's the guy that's trying to figure out his gauges making funny noises.  I seem to remember that when my batteries were low, the gauges would get spotty....  work/not work.

I will post when I get a new boat.
