2001 Epic S22 for Sale - Engine is bad!

I have a 2001 Epic 22 that was working great last year, but due to a faulty winterization the engine block is cracked.  Boat was working fine until then, but don't want to take the time/energy/$$ to buy a new engine (even if one was available) and have it installed.   The computer has also not worked for a couple of years and seats cushions need to be reupholstered. This has been a great boat and have enjoyed many hours on the lake with the family.  Hull is in perfect shape, steering is tight.  Includes trailer.  Bought new in 2002, so this is from the last year it was manufactured.    $7,000

You have any pictures of the boat?

I have been wanting to put a 4.7L in one of these to see how it would perform with a heavier engine and more torque.  Supposedly these UZ line is all bolt compatible so tranny and everything would line up no issues.  The only issue would be the cylinder sleeves as I think ours are stainless because of raw water cooling or something like that.

Problem is my boat runs great and it does not make sense to pull apart a working boat... :-)

But a boat that is a project boat sounds like it would be a ton of fun.
