Annoying Buzzer

Can anyone please tell me where the hell the buzzer is located under the dash. I want the buzzer itself, not just the wires to cut.. Thanks Bart

Bart,
It's just hanging under the dash.  Size of a large quarter.   Just a suggestion, place a piece electrical tape over it to "calm it down some". Still needs to be audible.

Yes. That is what I plan on doing. Not cutting it out as when your driving you need to hear when somthing is not right. Does It have a nipple like thing on it. I saw somthing like that but looked nothing like a buzzer.. Thanks for the quick reply..

99 models does not have a capacitor so it will sound off when the key goes on. The buzzer will stop after engine starts and oil presure builds. If it stays on then there could be a short to ground on the orange wire. or high water temp
2000-2002 will only sound after engine has been started if low oil pressure or high water temp.

My title to the boat says 2001, and it goes off when I turn the key. Drives me bonkers... In fact I HATE it.. but I know I need it for instrument panal stuff. I just want to tame it is all.

2001 turn engine on when oil pressure starts to read does the buzzer stop?

Sorry for the long delay. Yes it stops. But it is so loud when I start it it litterally hurts my ears. Just need to find it and tape it..
