Wow! Sorry for a dumb question, but have you done that before or seen it done? I have same issue in aft corner seats and would love to buy some time before redoing the vinyl. Thanks!

I have done it before, 5200 bonds very well, but you need to degrease area of application with acetone or choke cleaner very thoroughly. I also mixed some of the glue with gray primer to color match and patch couple of holes here and there.

Very cool! What kind of primer did you use for tint?

Some common brand takes few drops to match the grayish white of my interior.

And that will hold up to kids jumping in an out of the boat?

Not sure, depends on the kids I suppose.
I also trace seam with superglue before applying 5200, so make sure that layers of vinyl are bonded again.
