Finally had the opportunity to run the boat with the teak physically removed. Was pretty sure the platform was eating away at the shape and push of the wake, so have wanted to just straight up remove it to see art of the possible. If awesome, then could think through the trimming and raising options. Bottom line, it so sucked! 750 in trunk plus one in aft cockpit. Both shifted to the port side. There was such a fountain of whitewash I could almost get barreled, and really little push except seriously right behind the transom. Tried speeds between 9 and 14.
Thinking it was too much weight aft, I moved the second 750 from the trunk to the bow walkway (so with the first, it was like a huge water sausage from the bow to the aft end of the cockpit. Didnt ride but it didnt look like a significant change.
Did it
Board was LF Fsh. I'mbsure ballast wasn't set up right, but have had decent luck before with the teak installed and similar ballst setups using a small, real surfboard.
Still love the boat, but have closed the case on this aspect. Back to boarding and skiing. And increasingly, floating and chilling.
