Crazy acting guages!
« on: June 24, 2015, 01:21:27 am »
So today we took her out for the first run of 2015 and noticed zero oil pressure. I just did a oil change so it had me worried. Checked for leaks, none. Checked dipstick good, running smooth no knocking. I'm thinking bad sending unit no biggie. Start it up again and zero fuel o. Guage then up on plane and low voltage warning on accuski like 10 Volts.  I'm kinda at a loss here checked connections behind dash and all ok.

Any ideas appreciated!

Best grab a Digital Multi-Meter (voltmeter/Resistance Meter) and step thru the MDC trouble-shooting guide:
http://www.epicmarine.com/docs/MDCtrouble.PDF

And further assistance I can help via PM

totally normal operation LOL. I have given up worrying about my gauges or reliability. Change your impeller, inspect and change the serpentine belt, feel your exhaust manifolds occasionally. enjoy your boat

Sounds good lol. I'm thinking of putting on another oil pressure gauge just for reassurance.
