ridekirk- yes i do still have the ballast system for sale. as stated before it does not include bags, sac, tanks. it is just the factory SX ballast control system. its in working order but has its limits and that why i removed it and installed my own system.

as for what i installed check out the post "new SX ballast system" . it has changed a bit since that post. the vented loops did not work and it self filled. so to remedy that i had to install an electric gate valve at the manifold. Ive only had one issue since and i just deal with it. the manifold is installed above the water line and at times when I'm not moving and there are few passengers it has trouble priming enough to fill the tanks quickly. (on a side note i have 100 lbs. of lead under the front cushions, and it lifts the back up a bit) if i have people in the boat it fills just fine and of course if the boat is moving the pickup supplies plenty of water to the manifold.

i love the system it fills and drains in under five minutes and is almost completely automated. the only exception is i have to attach the quick connect on the walk through bag. I'm pretty sure there is a pic on the other post. I'm not gonna lie it was expensive and very time consuming i installed it myself and during the winter. its definitely more than a quick weekend project. granted i kinda had to design it as i went or redesign as i went if you know what i mean. i spent money on high flow, high quality parts and it ended up costing around $2800. I'm sure it could be done for less if you are doing it exactly the same and not redesigning and not using parts i already.

let me know i you have any questions
