Trampoline Style T-Top
« on: April 26, 2008, 02:16:51 am »
Interested in getting a trampoline style T-top for my V-Drive.  I want a purple one to match my 'Shock Wave' color scheme.  Does anybody have one for sale or know where I might find one to fit my factory wakeboard tower?

Thanks for the help ;D

You can't get them anymore from TMS. See the TMS Parts link on the blue bar up top.

You could get one made for cheaper than they cost from TMS (600$) Here are dimensions, I happened to measure them today, funny you should axe that question:)

You might call New Dimension Towers and see if he can make you one. I think they might have made them for TMS. You should get five or so made and sell them for a profit;)

The guy to work with at New Dimensions.com is Wayne Hartford - very nice guy. When I saw him at the Atl Boat Show in early 2006, he was tooling up to make tramp tops. He still wasn't ready to make one for an Epic that summer. I got tired of waiting so I went to towerbiminis.com.The guy I worked with there was John. Either of them should be able to make one from the great job Pete did with the dimensions. My guess is that it won't be much less than $600, if any- let us know how the search goes.
Don't be so humble, you're not that great.

It was 600$ for the frame;) the fabric part is still available for 300$ They are proud of that sheot and it was special and innovative at the time and for years afterwards. Expect big bucks for custom stuff. The stock tramp top has a very distinct look and you can run down the highway for 8hrs with it and not worry.

Hey cyclone,

MANY THANKS for the detailed diagram of the tramp. top.  Very meticulously put together.  This type of owner collaboration is what makes epicmarine.com the superior owner-enthusiast site.  I'm gonna have one made for my SX.  Your diagram will make it possible.

I am about to have one made from a local guy - he is gonna email me a price today so thanks for the diagram!!

Only question I have is how do you attach it to the tower?   What parts, etc?
