painting window moding

has anyone tried to paint the windshield molding.  most of the black paint on one side of the boat has almost all come off.  not a big deal just wanted to see if it can be painted again and what would u suggest?

shouldn't be too big a deal but since it's metal I would use an etching primer or etching paint if you can find the right black.

Mine looked pretty bad, I sanded and left the same finish that was there which is a brushed  anodize finish.

Primer Etch Black has worked great for us,  21 years ago went to a lake for a week  (2000) and the black off the teak deck supports disappeared. Sprayed Primer etch black on them. Still good today. Restored a Mastercraft Prostar 190 (92) Used the same product on the windshield molding. Turned out great.
