Service Manuals
« on: February 21, 2003, 04:25:35 am »
Anyone out there have the official Toyota Shop manual for the Epic 22, or know where they are available?  I just purchased a 1999 Epic 22, and am waiting for the dealer to send me one, but wondering what they consist of (engine, boat & accessories, both(?)) and how detailed they are, since I will be doing most maintenance, repairs myself, and am not even close to any dealers (the boat will be going to northern Maine in the spring).  Thanks.

PS.  Great site!!  Hope EVERY Epic owner registers!!

Hi Pete,
I think Sandy said that he has a shop manual, I don't have one. I'll ask the dealer today if he can order me one.

I have a owners manual.
I would love a shop manual!

There is a huge difference!

I will have a Toyota 1uz marine engine shop manual by the end of the week! It is about 2" thick. I'll post the part number, I'm sure you can get it through Toyota, they still stock all parts for these boats. I have a great dealer with a great mechanic that has worked on lots of Toyotas, I'm sure that those of you not close to a dealer could order parts and accessories through them. www.atlantamarine.com
Their page doesn't have much on it, but they are really good people.
