winterizing question for DD

i have winterized my boat.  rather than messing with the plug for the pass side block i took off the oil cooler hose that comes from that connection and drained all the water out of the block from there.  anyone see a problem with that?

I drained the water out of the oil cooler hose first, then I opened the block drain on the passenger side and only got a few drops out, so I would say you are good.
