First day of production on the all new 08 Sequoia is 11/12/07.  They should be at the dealerships sometime in Dec 07.  From what I hear, they will the sh*t, and a little more expensive.

Hopefully they will use the new 5.7L engine and 6-speed tranny that is in my 07 Tundra.   I would be dissapointed if they didn't.  I actually looked at the current Sequoia when I was looking at the Tundra's and I couldn't believe they didn't plan to lauch both vehicles with the 5.7L option.  I do know they moved the new Tundra up about 8 months, so maybe they had planned to put it in the Sequoia in 08'.

Toyota has not released final build profiles here in the Portland Region.  So you cannot order a specific unit yet.  Hopefully soon.  I'm sure your local Toyota dealership will put you on a list to get one of the first few units.  In Salem, Or we have yet to have anyone even ask about the new Sequoia.

Its due out late this year -- same drivetrain as the new Tundra (5.7L 6-speed) etc. Should be an awesome vehicle. I'm sure any Toyota dealer will take your deposit, but we don't have any specs yet so there is no way to order a specific configuration.
