Lake Roosevelt in Washington
« on: August 06, 2007, 00:52:28 am »
I just got back from Lake Roosevelt near Spokane, Wa.  Had a great time and my S22 ran flawlessly, like it always does.  The weather couldn't have been better with temps in the upper 80's to lower 90's.  The water was smooth, flat and nice and warm.  Unfortunately I dropped my digital camera in the deep water, so I have no pics.

My cousins saw another Epic that looked just like my true blue 2001 S22.

18 Seasons without a single problem.  This boat ROCKS!!

User error on my part.  I wasn't quite done with my post and I seemed to have hit something on my keyboard..  My bad!

Anyway, was anyone on this awesome site up at Lake Roosevelt in the past couple of weeks?  I have had my Epic for 8 seasons so far and have yet to see any other Epic out there at all.  If I had been able to go to the NW Roundup, I would have been able see other ones other than just pictures..

Anyway, if anyone has a chance to go to Lake Roosevelt ( it is the Columbia River before Hoover Dam and is over 100 miles long, I believe ), you will be in for a nice treat.

I wish I had pictures but now have to buy a new camera.

I was at Banks Lake camping at Steamboat Rock in the group site.  I have a 2000 S22 with the true blue package.  Had to go into Cooley city for gas.  I wonder if your cousin saw us tooling around for a few days between the 17th and the 22nd of July.

We had a ton of fun but banks blows out around 11am and then does not get calm again until 7pm at night.  No wonder so many people had Air/Sky chairs.

My cousins saw the Epic at Two Rivers Marina, which is where the Spokane River comes into the Columbia.  We had almost no wind at all except my last day, Fri 8/3.  Conditions were excellent!!
