Spark arrester

How do you clean the spark arrester? I tryed to get it off and I could not get it off even after I pulled the 2 pins out. It is getting kinda dirty and would like to clean it tonight so a quik responce would be great thanks.

I just cleaned mine yesterday. Once you pull the 2 pins out, I was able to work it out by pressing down(not in) slightly on the arrestor. It kinda acts like an accordion.

Cleaned it with brake cleaner. Make sure to let dry completely before starting or rename it spark accelerator.
