I cannot express how thankful I am for this site.  If I would have taken it to a mechanic, they probably would have started at it and scratched their heads for hours like I did before realizing how simple this issue really was.  Thank you to everybody, but especially Lesman, Cyclone and Capt Rick for making this site invaluable to everybody from gearheads to knuckleheads.

No doubt, thanks Rick!
Cal, my main concern about running the boat would be to change fluids in case some water got in the trans or in the crankcase somehow.
