What's your favorite lake to ski/board on?  With the popularity of the sport right now, finding a good place to go sking/boarding is tough at times (even on Lake Amistad).  I would love to know where everybody goes when they want great water.

Visit Wisconsin.  14,000+ lakes.  Easy to avoid the crowds.

I like Lake Lanier in Ga. I live 5 min away so that helps. There is great flat water there at the right times of day, all year round. It never freezes! New boat has a heater and shower;)

Try Kerr Lake on the Va/Nc border. Not usually very crowded and with over 50,000 acres, you can find a quiet cove.
