Posted some good stuff..
« on: March 02, 2003, 01:47:46 am »
I put up some PDF's of some interesting service information on the How To page. I will rescan some of the info to make the picture quality a little better, the original docs were color. Included are:

Impeller Replacement (same impeller as Indmar, part no. Johnson 812

http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=RP061018&variation=&aitem=2&mitem=11
29.99 my dealer charged me list 37.95!

Theres also directions on installing the observer seat extension, what we have been referring to as the jumpseat.

I included a doc on the actual canvas jumpseats that were an option as well.

There is also a large document on the ballast system on X22's. For 1999, there were a lot of innovations. Toyota was probably the first to use a reversible Jabsco Water puppy pump. There is also a flow switch that sounds a buzzer when the ballast is empty,  pretty cool. There are Toyota part numbers for all this stuff, I will find out what kind of flow switch they used by looking at a boat that is in for service if it is ok with the owner (Atlbuff!)

I'll rescan the docs for better pictures but they are there right now (sat) if you are curious.

Where is the "how to page"?  Are there any pics on how to replace the impellar?

??? There is a link on the home page of my site, it is the button above the one to get to the forums. Let me know if you can't see the button, I may have to change fonts and colors to make things work for everyone.

Here is a link. www.cyclone-cj.com/how_to.htm

I will be replacing my impeller this weekend and will post some color pics. It's going to be 65 deg today, 70+ and sunny Sat and Sun ;D

Impeller replacement was a breeze, see the How_To page for pics and details.

Glad to get some good feedback! I may do a prop shaft alignment and take pictures of the process. It's been three years, probably time to check it.
